Good house rules make expectations easy to understand. Use this starting point, then adapt it to your property and the rules shown in your booking listing.

Keep only the rules that apply to your home.
- Please do not smoke or vape inside the property.
- Quiet hours are 10 PM–8 AM. Please be considerate of our neighbors.
- Only registered guests may stay overnight. Contact us before inviting visitors.
- No parties or events.
- Please park only in the space assigned to this property.
- Tell us promptly if something breaks so we can put it right.
- Before leaving, switch off lights and air conditioning, and close the door securely.
Be explicit about pets and shared areas
State your actual pet policy and any restrictions in the booking listing before a guest books. Describe shared entrances, pools, or outdoor spaces clearly. Do not introduce surprise fees or restrictions only after arrival.
Keep the tone hospitable
Explain the practical reason where useful: “Please rinse off sand outside to keep the drains clear.” Short, specific requests are easier to follow than a long wall of warnings.
