Share Airbnb Wi-Fi with a simple guest guide QR
There are two different QR codes people call a “Wi-Fi QR.” Pick the one that fits how your guests arrive.
Wi-Fi network QR versus guide QR
A network QR encodes the network name and password so a supported phone can join directly. A Stayfolio guide QR opens a web page with the network name and a one-tap copy button. Stayfolio currently generates guide QR codes, not direct-connect Wi-Fi codes.
Help guests who are not online yet
Opening a web guide requires connectivity. Print the network name and password next to your QR as a fallback for guests with no roaming data. Once connected, they can open the rest of the guide.
A useful Wi-Fi section
Use the exact network spelling, including capitalization. Put only the password in the password field so guests can copy it cleanly.
- Use a separate guest network when available.
- Explain where to stand if the signal is weak.
- Add a safe restart instruction if your router allows it.
- Update the guide immediately when the password changes.
