How to make a QR code for your Airbnb
Put the answers guests need on the table, not in another message thread. A QR code opens your digital guest guide in the browser.
What should your QR code open?
Use a stable guest guide URL. Putting a raw Wi-Fi password or temporary document link in a QR makes updates difficult. A guide link stays the same when you edit its contents.
Make a QR that works in a real rental
Create your guide, publish it, then open Share & QR. Download the PNG or print the welcome card.
- Print with strong contrast and a clear white border.
- Start with a code at least 30 mm wide.
- Test from a printed copy using both iPhone and Android.
- Place it by the entrance and near the seating area.
- Keep a short written Wi-Fi fallback for guests without mobile data.
Keep the same code across stays
Update the guide rather than replacing it. Deleting a property breaks its existing link, so unpublish only when you intentionally want the guide unavailable.
